Glasshouse Assistant - Warkworth

We are seeking a Glasshouse Assistant to provide support and assistance to our Glasshouse Team in this newly created role. You will be given an area and list of tasks from your Complex Manager which you will be expected to complete to a good standard and within a given timeframe.

You will be responsible for:

Maintaining general cleanliness of the glasshouse, including removing weeds, rubbish, and keeping the concrete path tidy.

Helping with general maintenance tasks.

Establishing the source of minor water leaks and carrying out basic repairs.

Backing up the glasshouse team in other areas when needed.

Adhering to compliance, health & safety requirements.

There is also a Glasshouse Complex Manager role available

Self-starter who would get satisfaction from ensuring their Glasshouse Complex looks clean & tidy at all times.

Keen to learn, a practical thinker, shows initiative, and works efficiently.

Health & Safety conscious.

Physically fit.

Able to work in a hot and humid environment.

Forklift license advantageous, we can offer forklift training if required.

Experience getting their hands dirty in other roles, an understanding of horticulture would be helpful.
