Are you a skilled Handyperson that enjoys painting, furniture assembly, building shelves and fixtures, and other maintenance related tasks?
An iconic New Zealand retailer is looking for a Handyperson to join their Waikato team. No two days are ever the same with this role! This role is primarily based in Hamilton, but may require occasional travel to other areas such as Auckland and Tauranga.
On any given day, you could be helping to set up the store, painting, performing building maintenance requirements and plastering, as well as providing great customer service while on the floor.
Ideally we are looking for someone hard working and motivated to produce high quality finishes, who has some technical knowledge such as carpentry, general property maintenance or repair work). All candidates must have a full clean New Zealand driver's license, and a "can do" attitude, with great time management and prioritisation skills. Ideally some knowledge of building standards, codes and compliance requirements would be great.

Job Requirements
- Full clean drivers license A must!! (no flexibility) - Some previous experience in trades would be ideal, a minimum 6 months - Practical, hands on experience with tools is a must. - Pass an MOJ check
- Days of work
- Monday to Friday with flexibility for the occasional weekend if/when required (such as over peak trade). (30 hours per week)
