Screen Arts: digital animation or graphic design

We are urgently looking for an enthusiastic and technically skilled Screen Arts teacher of young adults. You will be responsible for teaching practical skills in this technical area. As a member of the team you will also contribute to other areas of course delivery, e.g., off site productions/project supervisions, and some operational duties. Must hold a Full class 1 Licence Must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice check Ability to pass a Drug test. Essential Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or significant industry experience in any aspect of Screen Arts: Film, Animation, Digital Media, or related field. • Current knowledge of industry practices and technologies • A portfolio of professional work • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to adjust to different learning styles and needs Desirable Qualities: • Experience with digital production tools and techniques • Industry connections and professional experience • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive teaching practices • Knowledge of te reo Maori and tikanga Maori
