Water Serviceperson

Local industry leader in integrated infrastructure services across New Zealand are currently seeking a Water Serviceperson to join our busy team in supporting the Southland/Invercargill region. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the water industry and be able to handle a wide range of jobs and projects to maintain the water networks or have transferable skills to train into this role.
The main purpose of this position is to carry out operations and maintenance tasks, as well as respond to faults in the Southland District Three Waters networks.
Your duties could include:
- Routine and planned preventative maintenance, installation, and repairs on water, wastewater and storm-water assets. - A hands-on role in completing work safely and meeting our client and the needs of the contract.

Job Requirements
You will have a great attitude, be reliable and hardworking and will bring with you: - Ideally Infrastructure Works Level 3 or 4 ideally and /or Water Reticulation qualifications preferred but training and apprenticeship may be offered to the right applicant. - Driver’s license; Minimum Class 1 (Class 2 & WTR an advantage). - Hazard awareness training would be beneficial. - Knowledge and experience in urban and rural water reticulation system maintenance.
