Storeperson

Local supermarket are on the lookout for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Storeperson. This is a full-time position covering one weekend day, with a total of 39 hours per week. The role is approx 60% store person work and 40% working in grocery filling/facing shelves. The role requires early start times, with your shifts typically starting around 5:00am 5:30am and ending in the early afternoon. Hours to be discussed at interview.

Your day to day tasks:

- Building rapport with delivery drivers, suppliers, merchandisers and the wider team. - Ensuring inventory accuracy is correct on delivery and communicating with relevant departments. - Active engagement with a strict Health & Food Safety Policy. - Check and sort incoming deliveries to distribute to the relevant department. - Assist with general organisation in the storeroom. - Breakdown daily grocery delivery into correct aisles. - Filling and facing in grocery department and others as required.

Although prior experience in inwards goods and a forklift licence are preferred, they are not essential as full training will be provided.

Must have an updated CV with contactable references. Must have the ability to pass pre-employment medical/drug tests if required as well as pass police checks as part of recruitment process.
