Local Invercargill sawmill are on the hunt for motivated and hardworking staff .

As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a crucial role in our operations. These are hands-on, full-time dayshift roles for candidates who are ready to contribute to a high-performing team and grow within a progressive business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load racks and trucks. - Manually handle and organise timber and building products. - Maintain stock levels and meet quality assurance standards. - Use basic computer systems to process dockets and record data. - Keep work areas tidy, safe, and well-organised. - Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and team efficiency.

Job Requirements

- Forklift licence - Must have Full Driver’s license and own transport as located in Kennington. - Must be fit and have a recent CV with contactable references and MUST be able to pass a medical/drug test! Convictions on a case by case basis. - A consistent work history and great references - Mechanical aptitude - The ability to work independently and within a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - The physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects - this is a physical role!

Days of work
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30PM, with overtime required until 4:00 PM available Monday to Thursday, or as required. (40 hours per week)
