Parish Administrator - Albany
About this job
An opening has become available for an office administrator, working across 2 close-by Churches. You will be responsible for the front-office and back-office support for the Parish. Key responsibilities include: • Assist in preparing the weekly newsletter. • Support clergy in preparation for worship services for the two Churches. • Correspondence including PO Box check , Office emails, day-to-day phone calls and messages. • Managing church rosters . • Data entry for Membership and basic accounting for invoices and ledgers. • Ensure compliance with all relevant Diocesan ordinances, policies, and protocols. • Prep for meetings. • General administration support incl filing, bookings, supplies. • Assist with running the young mothers help group.
The hours involve 2 or 3 mornings of 3 hours duration, and 2 mornings or afternoons of 2 hours duration, around 10-15 hrs pw on Mondays to Fridays. Working within School hours may be possible by negotiation.
The ideal applicant will have maturity and sufficient life experience needed to work well within the organisation and congregation.

Job Requirements
1- have at least 2 years of office administration experience. 2- that experience to be noted on your up to date CV. 3- have at least 2 contactable references from recent Employers. 4- have your own transport and min of Restricted driver licence in order to work between both sites. 5- any criminal convictions are to be disclosed and will be considered case by case - except those involving theft/ fraud/ dishonesty.
