Storeman

Position is based in Kaponga. Manage & maintain inventory ensuring accuracy of stock levels and location. Record & monitor inventory movements. Operate computer systems to access & update stock information including storage locations & quantities of items in stock. Receive incoming goods check for damages & verify the goods against invoices. Unload trucks and trailers open packages & remove contents. Label goods with storage location details. Pack weigh and seal boxes for dispatch. Assist with regular stock takes & ensure proper documentation. Operate equipment including hydraulic pallet filters hand trucks & manually or electronically guided order pickers. Use machines to lift place & remove goods. Maintain a clean safe & organized store environment. Ensure store is tidy and goods are arranged properly. Report to the owner & management about inventory levels discrepancies & any issues that may arise. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation.

At least 1 year relevant work experience is required. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely. Comfortable with working in a physically demanding environment. Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely. Strong attention to detail for managing inventory and stock discrepancies. Proficient with basic computer systems to track inventory and update records.
