We are seeking an all-round fabulous person to manage the store, the amazing and dedicated team of volunteers and supporters. If you are someone who has a warm and welcoming personality and can make customers and teams feel special and valued we want to hear from you. The Shop Manager will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations. The Manager will report to the Board and is responsible for managing a group of volunteers and supporters. • To adhere to and promote the mission and values of the Charity • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with customers, volunteers, board members and other stakeholders • Able to value, support and grow the volunteer and supporter teams • Experience in management and/or experience in the retail sector-in particular the clothing industry (an advantage) • Experience working with volunteers and an understanding of the principles of volunteer management • Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills • Initiative and the ability to seek out opportunities to expand and grow the profile and work of the Charity • Great IT skills • The ability to manage budgets Special Requirements • The flexibility to work on weekends. • A current and full New Zealand Drivers Licence • The right to live and work in New Zealand. • The role is 25 hours per week but is flexible.
