Front of House Supervisor

As an experienced FoH Supervisor in a busy CBD cafe, you role will include:
* Supervising a team of FOH staff to ensure efficient coordination and timely service delivery * Resolving minor issues independently while escalating more serious matters to senior management as appropriate * Providing comprehensive induction and continuous on-the-job training to FOH staff to maintain service excellence * Preparing and serving coffee and alcoholic beverages in compliance with applicable liquor sales laws * Overseeing the operation of the espresso machine and ensuring its regular maintenance and optimal functionality * Overseeing daily opening and closing procedures, including bar preparation, table setup, and point-of-sale reconciliation * Participating in the creation of rosters and the allocation of shifts in accordance with business needs and FOH staff availability * Supervising daily opening and closing activities to ensure smooth commencement and conclusion of service.
Job Requirements
* A minimum of two years’ relevant experience, including comparative supervision and coffee-making experience * Possession of a current Licence Controller Qualification * Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment * Proven capacity to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism * Excellent command of English, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal communication skills * Able to work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays, including the Christmas and New Year period * A high level of personal integrity and ethical conduct * Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to service excellence * A genuine, serious and long-term commitment to the role
