Water Technician

We are seeking motivated and reliable people looking to get started or continue their journey as a Water Technician.

The roles are for an employee focused employer based in Wiri although the work will involve travelling to sites in a company supplied and equipped vehicle.

The successful applications will:

- Repair and service: water meters, service lines, mains, valves and hydrants. - Drainage servicing (pipe repairs and maintenance). dealing with the public, signing off jobs on the iPad. - Operating power tools, small plant and machinery e.g., diggers. - General site cleanups. - Following instructions given by an experienced senior. - Assisting with civil operations and health and safety. - Develop your practical skills out in the field and have ability to work as part of a team. - This is a great opportunity to become qualified in the trade and met your potential.

- A can-do attitude and ability to work in a team. - Willingness to learn and become an expert in the field. - Some experience as a drain or plumbers assistant or labourer preferred. - It is essential that you want to enter the industry and be a highly reliable, dependable and practical person. - Must be fully vaccinated. - Able to pass a pre-employment drug test. - Must have reliable transport and restricted or full licence.
