About this job
A Community Support Worker is needed - you will be travelling to clients houses supporting people with various aspects of daily life and supporting personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills.
• Working days are Monday to Friday and alternate weekends • Working shifts between 7 AM to 8 PM • Restricted or full driver’s license required with own reliable vehicle. • Must possess a clean traffic and criminal history. • Must be physically git to perform the duties of a support worker. • Willingness to learn and grow in this role is important.
Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
The employer welcomes entry-level support workers and can provide training to help staff progress to Level 2 and eventually up to Level 4 qualifications.

Job Requirements
• Restricted or full driver’s license required • Must be available over weekends. Working days Monday to Friday and alternate weekends. • A desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes. • Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own.
Hourly rate: • Level 0: $23.50 • Level 2: $24.78 • Level 3: $26.94 • Level 4: $29.10
