About this job
The applicant will need to have the following attributes: -Empathy and patience with the elderly. -Assisting Residents in the day-to-day activities of daily living. -Being aware of individual needs. -To deliver a high standard of care to Residents who have non-medical requirements. -To work at a steady, organised pace, ensure that the Residents feel involved in their home and their care. -Implementation of each resident's Care Plan. -You must be a team player working with a small staff team. -Excellent communication skills. -A strong and reliable work ethic. -Flexible and able to adapt to our residents' constantly changing needs. -Medication Competent. -Ability to understand care plans. -Flexibility to work any shift.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in the aged care sector for a minimum of 2 years OR at least 1 year with relevant qualifications. -Minimum Qualification NZQA Level 2 Certificate in Health and Well-Being. -Flexibility to work any shifts per the roster, mainly night shift and afternoon shifts.

- Work any shifts per the roster, But we expect to do mostly night shifts 11.45pm-7.15am and afternoon shift 3.30pm-12.00pm. (30 hours per week)
