Junior Stormwater Technician

A Northcote-based company specializing in stormwater maintenance is seeking two Junior Stormwater Technicians to join their team. This is a varied, physical, and often dirty role where no two days are the same. Working with a supportive team, you will be responsible for the maintenance of various Stormwater Filtration devices which include Cesspits, Up-Flows, Stormwater Vaults, and Sand Filters to name a few. Part of this role will require confined space entry. You will be given full training on the correct maintenance procedures and techniques, ensuring we are protecting our streams, rivers, and oceans from pollutants. To be considered for this role, you will have a positive attitude and a keen willingness to learn; strong attention to detail and the ability to use your initiative; be a true team player with a lot of common sense. Confined Space, First Aid, and Site Safe Certifications are advantageous, however not essential. You will also hold a full class-1 Driver Licence and your own transport - start point each day is at Northcote. Must be able to pass a Drug test and a Ministry of Justice check.
