Supervisor

A Kiwifruit Contractor whose orchards are in the greater Te Puke area needs a Supervisor. Overseer a team to deliver the FULL RANGE of tasks within a kiwifruit orchard. You support management in executing farm operations within budget while maximizing efficiency and productivity. Make sure staff adhere to the companies policies and procedures. Assist in training and guiding workers during seasonal operations., Assist with the creation and management of the orchard's budget, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and reporting on financial performance. Manage worker schedules, ensuring enough manpower is available for various tasks, and handle employee time-off requests or shifts. Track weather patterns, soil moisture levels, or pest forecasts to plan future actions, without being on-site daily. Ensure that orchard equipment undergoes routine maintenance or repairs as needed, scheduling service appointments or checking on its condition. Ensure all tasks comply with health and safety regulations.

Minimum 12 Months of work experience in a similar role. Available to work on weekends and early morning shifts Strong time management skills Physically fit to work for extended periods Hardworking and motivated Keen attention to detail Excellent organizational abilities
