Qualified Builder

Te Rapa employer seeking a skilled and experienced Qualified Builder to join their team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality residential building work while maintaining the highest safety standards. As a key member of the team, the builder will be expected to complete a variety of tasks, from framing to finishing, ensuring all work meets NZ building standards and aligns with the company’s quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities: • Interpret and follow building plans and specifications with precision. • Perform all aspects of residential construction, including framing, cladding, and finishing. • Maintain a safe, organised, and clean work environment at all times. • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, apprentices, and other trades on-site. • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with New Zealand building codes and company standards. • Communicate professionally with site managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project flow.

• Trade qualification in carpentry (Level 4 Certificate or equivalent). • Proven experience in residential construction, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality work. • Strong understanding of NZ building codes, regulations, and safety practices. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. • Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated. • Own tools and a valid driver’s licence. • A positive attitude and a commitment to producing excellent workmanship. • Past convictions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
