Harvest QC / Tractor Driver - Tapora

We are a large avocado orchard based in the beautiful Kaipara Harbour and are looking for someone to join the harvest team as a QC/tractor driver. This is a seasonal role from 1st July 2025 to End of November 2025, working on a Avocado Orchard.
The position involves : Checking the harvest teams for quality of work (checking fruit picked in the bins and checking the trees to ensure fruit isn't missed) and communicating any issues with pickers. Driving the tractor/bin trailer to and from the orchard blocks. Unloading/loading the bins from/to the bin trailer (with forklift) Stacking the full bins (with forklift) Completion of harvest documentation Daily maintenance of allocated machinery. Checking allocated machinery and equipment and reporting any issues to Workshop Manager/Operations Manager.
Job Requirements
RELIABILITY !! (critical) Forklift licence Tractor driving experience. Good communication skills Reasonable level of literacy (for completion of harvest documentation) Able to follow instructions Attention to detail Must be able to pass a random drug test Must be able to pass a MOJ check
