A rental car business company in Auckland Airport precinct is looking for customer focused, high performing Instant Return Representative to join their exceptional team.
About the Role? As an Instant Return Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales services to internal and external customers to ensure the continued growth and profitability of the company. You will be based at the Auckland Airport store, and you may be required to work at other NZ stores within reasonable travel distance.
In this role you will; Greeting customers as they return their vehicles and ensuring a positive customer experience Inspecting the returning vehicle for damage You will be on your feet all day, regardless of the weather. You will be responsible for assisting customers to their car, checking customers in upon return, checking for damage, managing the car park and liaising with back of house (groomers) regarding dirty vehicles available for pick up. Attention to detail is key, as missed damage is a big cost to the business. You will be required to use tablets to check in vehicles, so some technology experience is good.
It can be a high-pressure role at certain times i.e mid afternoon when all corporates are returning their vehicles (50-70 cars returning between 2-5 pm). Courteously and expeditiously processing rental returns is very important.

Job Requirements
Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and ability to engage in verbal interaction with customers Attention to detail is very important Previous experience in customer service or sales; experience in rental industry preferred Computer literacy skills required Flexibility of working hours (7-day shift work including weekends & public holidays may apply) A full and current NZ driver’s licence with the ability to drive automatic vehicles. Must pass Ministry of Justice check and drug test
