Support Worker
About this job
As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities in building independence and developing daily living skills. Your support will include a range of tasks such as:
-Assisting with transportation, employment, and financial management -Supporting with meal preparation, shopping, and household tasks -Providing personal care, including showering and medication administration

Job Requirements
-Possession of a Full NZ driver's license and the ability to drive a van -Must pass a drug test -Must pass a MOJ and police check -Experience in hoisting and personal care is an advantage -Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role -Reliable and self motivated -Problem Solver -Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts -Enjoys to go out and about, taking people we support to community activities -Comfortable using computers and tablets -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Comfortable in working with a diversity community -Physical fitness to provide necessary support
