Purchase and Supply Officer

Ormiston based employer, is looking for a purchase & supply officer. Your duties will include monitoring and maintaining stock levels of photography equipment, studio supplies and client products for example: Photo prints, frames and albums. Developing and maintaining stronger relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and ensure timely procurement. Oversee shipments, deliveries and proper storage of materials across multiple studio locations. Managing purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods in coordination with suppliers and internal teams. Identifying opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality standards, maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, supplier agreements and invoices according to company policies. Working closely with photography, sales and operations teams to align supply chain activities with business needs. Ability to analyse data, forecast supply needs, and plan accordingly. Have strong communication and negotiation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment while managing multiple tasks.

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory management software.
