Warehouse Storeperson

An International logistics provider handling the Import and Export of both Dry and Perishable Cargo by Air and Ocean, Customs Brokerage, Event Logistics and Third-Party Logistics is seeking a full time Warehouse store person.

This position would primarily involve working in the airfreight team loading airline units in preparation for export. Previous experience in these types of environments and working with perishable products is preferable. The successful applicant must have a good attention to detail with regards to paperwork and product, along with being able to work independently.

Other duties would include: Unloading of trucks Scanning capabilities Checking of cargo into store General Warehouse duties Loading and unloading of Ocean-freight Containers

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Ministry of Justice criminal record check.

You must have a current class 1 car drivers’ licence (Restricted or Full) and reliable means of getting to and from work. Applicants need to be flexible with work hours and days, weekend work may be required. Cool store experience, a current forklift and class 2 or 4 HT licence are desirable but not essential. You must be physically fit as there will be heavy lifting involved. Must have good awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety regulations. Honest, reliable, have good communication skills, be willing to accept responsibility and work hard. Must pass MOJ check, drug test and other pre-employment checks.
