Cafe Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Cafe Manager to lead the daily operations of our cafe at a prestigious private members golf club. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to provide high-end service in a refined environment.

Key Responsibilities • Manage daily cafe operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training • Deliver high quality food and beverage service consistently • Operate and maintain the Lightspeed Kounta POS system • Process and coordinate function bookings using DotGolf • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across all service areas • Monitor inventory levels and support ordering processes • Resolve member inquiries and concerns in a professional, timely manner • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations • Assist in developing seasonal menu items and cafe promotions • Build and maintain positive relationships with club members

Key Requirements • Minimum 4 years of experience in a supervisory role in a cafe or restaurant setting (preferably in high-end or members only venues) • Proficiency with DotGolf and Lightspeed Kounta POS systems (or similar systems with a willingness to learn) • Previous experience in private clubs, hospitality venues, or premium service environments • Food Safety Certification (Level 3 or higher preferred) • Diploma level qualification (NZQF Level 5) or equivalent experience • Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings • Solid knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation • If you're passionate about creating memorable experiences and leading a dedicated cafe team in a unique, high end environment, we would love to hear from you.
