An Upper Hutt Residential Provider is looking for an Activities Coordinator to join their team in a very supportive and friendly place to work.

Your duties will include:

• Lead and support a team of activities assistants ensuring activities are well-coordinated, engaged and aligned with resident’s needs. • Plan, develop and lead individualised activity plans for each resident based on activity assessment outcome their interests and preferences. • Maintain personal and professional development and ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.

Job Requirements

• You’ll have a NZQA (or equivalent) Divisional therapy (L4) certificate (or working towards a DT qualification) • Must have excellent customer service skills and be well presented. • Must have good empathy and compassion for elderly people. • Must be able to pass MOJ check. No convictions. • Must have a current full driver’s licence with at least five years driving experience in NZ as you will be required to drive a company van.

Days of work
You will be working between Monday-Sunday 9.30am-5pm on a roster basis (32 hours per week)

$24-$30ph based on experience and qualifications
