We're looking for a hardworking, customer-focused individual who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and has a keen eye for hidden treasures. This is a casual role, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and wants to help make a tangible difference in their community.
• Location: Waiuku • Hours: Casual Position with rostered hours across business operational days - Thursday to Sunday 7.30am to 4.30pm
About the Role: • Greet and assist customers delivering waste, recyclables, and green waste • Accurately assess waste volumes and apply appropriate charges • Sort and contain recyclables for maximum value and minimal contamination • Provide advice on acceptable items and recycling practices • Keep the yard clean, tidy, and safe for all users • Work alongside machinery and assist in vehicle movement when needed

Job Requirements
• Customer service skills with a friendly, helpful attitude • Accurate cash handling and EFTPOS transaction skills • Ability to obtain if not already held - F endorsement and W, T, R endorsement) • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling • Reliable, honest, and able to work both independently and as part of a team • A strong sense of health and safety awareness around vehicles and machinery • Passionate about sustainability and waste minimisation
