Class 2 Driver + Scaffolders Assistant

We're looking for a reliable and physically fit Class 2 Driver to join our scaffolding team. This is a dual role where you'll be responsible for transporting scaffolding equipment to and from job sites and supporting the scaffolders with loading, unloading and setting up materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Class 2 vehicles to deliver and pick up scaffolding materials. • Assist scaffolders with loading/unloading gear at various sites. • Support the team in erecting and dismantling scaffolding (under supervision). • Ensure all materials are secured safely during transport. • Carry out basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs. • Follow all health and safety protocols on-site and on the road. • Maintain a clean and organized truck and yard.
Job Requirements
• Full NZ Class 2 driver’s licence (clean record preferred). • Previous experience in scaffolding or construction (advantageous but not essential). • Physically fit – able to lift and carry heavy equipment daily. • Strong work ethic and team player. • Good communication and time management skills. • Site Safe and/or EWP ticket (a bonus – or willing to get one). • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
