About this job
Ensure procedures of the day-to-day operations of the cafe are followed. Cafe and service areas are presented to the highest standards including associated equipment. Carry out daily cleaning duties of the Cafe. Assist in other cafes onboard vessels when required. Welcome guests warmly and engage with them in a polite and friendly manner. Public areas, tables and service areas are kept clean and tidy. Service areas are fully stocked. Taking customers food and beverage orders, upselling where possible. Operating cash registers accurately and recording payments. Clean equipment, clearing tables and dishes. Ensuring souvenirs and food stocks are maintained at adequate levels. Prepare cafe food items as well as food for other outlets. Ensure food is made to a high quality. Assist with the production of food for sale outside of the cafe. Follow all food safety practises whilst preparing food. Uphold the highest hygiene practice in food preparation and kitchen areas.
