Furniture Removalist

A Nelson employer is seeking 2 staff members to join their team. Key Responsibilities of the role include - ability to plan and organize the loading, transportation, and unloading of furniture and equipment. Use appropriate lifting techniques to handle heavy and fragile items. Pack and secure furniture and equipment to ensure safe transportation. Ensure that all items are delivered in excellent condition and on time. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions with clients.
Job Requirements
Either 1 year work experience or level 3 qualification is required. Previous experience in a furniture removalist or similar role preferred but not essential. Ability to lift heavy objects and use proper lifting techniques. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm - some weekend work may be required (30 hours per week)

- $25.00 to $30.00 depending on experience
