Senior Hairdresser

Just Cuts in central Whangarei are hiring a experienced Senior Hairdresser to join the team. In this role your duties will include: -To listen to the client & advise honestly -Offer thorough hair care and hairstyling consultations before starting the style cut, discuss the style and their needs to maintain the style with the client, depending on their lifestyle. -To confirm with the client the final chosen style -To style cut Hair To shampoo, blow wave, dry off and perform other non-chemical hairdressing services. -To 'empower' the client with retail haircare products - educate clients on maintaining their style. (Using 'WOW' Factor Customer Service) -To meet personal productivity goals - average at least 2 clients per hour. -To greet and depart clients, using the Just Cuts scripts, when there is no receptionist on duty. -To be knowledgeable about the Just Cuts systems, that is, preset pricing, no appointment, clean hair policy and guarantee and to be able to explain these to clients. -To be familiar with advertised specials or promotions. -To do the salon bookwork and banking. -Avoid having high rates of client redo's. -Maintain an average cut rate of at least 2 clients per hour. -Keep salon and workstations clean and tidy

1- have a Minimum of 2 years previous hairdressing experience- doing cuts for men, women and children, stock and Team management. 2- that experience is to be detailed on your up to date CV. 3- be able to provide at least 2 references from previous Employers. 4- Be willing and able to work across ALL 7 days of the week including weekends. 5- any previous criminal convictions are to be disclosed and will be considered case by case.
