Senior Experienced Waiter/Waitress

Fine Dining Restaurant in Grey Lynn urgently requires a Senior Waiter or Waitress with a minimum one year or more experience

The main tasks and Duties Greet guests, take orders, suggest menu items Ensure food and drinks are served promptly and accurately to guests Resolve any guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain high standard of cleanliness and presentation in the dining area Supervise junior waitstaff, delegate tasks and responsibilities, assist with training and provide guidance and support to the team during peak hours Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and in a timely manner Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Head Waiter to ensure service goals and standards are met Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that food handling and service procedures meet industry standards. Assist with inventory monitoring stock levels of restaurant supplies.

MUST PASS POLICE AND DRUG AND ALCOHOL TEST MUST HAVE a MINIMUM of 1 year experience in Senior Waiter-Waitress role

Job pre-requisites At least 1 year of relevant experience A genuine love for hospitality and delivered exceptional service Strong multitasking and problem solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and team building skills Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Open full time right to work in New Zealand
