Truck Driver – Class 4,

We’re on the hunt for a skilled and reliable Class 4 Truck Driver to join our team full-time. This role offers a mix of metro and linehaul work across Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga — with same-day returns.

You'll be delivering construction materials to sites and distribution centres using a curtain-sider truck based out of Manukau.

• $28.00+ per hour, depending on skills and experience, • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00/5:30 PM start/finish times may vary depending on business needs. • A mix of metro and regional driving, home every night

Key Responsibilities: • Pick up and deliver freight to construction sites and distribution centres. • Load, unload, and safely distribute cargo. • Ensure all freight meets legal height, weight, and safety regulations. • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues. • Plan efficient routes in collaboration with dispatch. • Maintain accurate records of mileage, cargo details, and hazardous materials. • Obtain customer signatures or handle payments when required. • Weigh vehicle before and after loading to ensure legal compliance.

• Minimum 1 year of Class 4 truck driving experience • Valid Class 4 licence with: o Forklift endorsement o Dangerous Goods (DG) certification Both are essential – applications without these will not be considered • Clean driving record • Physically fit and capable of manual loading/unloading • Willing to travel to Hamilton and Tauranga (same-day return) • Reliable, self-motivated, and a good communicator • Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening • Must provide a CV and at least one transport industry reference
