Dairy Farm Assistant

Position located in Waharoa. This employer is looking to take on a Dairy Farm Assistant with a minimum of 6 months experience. The tasks that this person will be doing everyday are as follows: Feeding. Assist with the feeding of stock as directed by farm manager or according to the requirements outlined in the Farm Systems Manual. Milk harvesting. Responsible for dairy management as directed by the farm manager. Assisting with the management of the animals on farm as directed by farm manager or according to the requirement outlined in the Farm Systems Manual. Understand seasonal stock management requirements and assist with implementing these as directed by farm manager. Understand the requirements of managing the different classes of stock and assist with all stock management as directed by farm manager. Assist with all environmental compliance as directed by farm manager. Contribute to an effective team working environment. Comply with all health and safety requirements as directed by farm manager or outlined in the Health and Safety Manual. Look after the farm equipment and environment as directed by the farm manager. Single room accommodation available. No pets

Must have a minimum of 6 months Dairy farming experience Have a minimum of a restricted licence and own transport Must be able to pass a drug test Must be able to pass a MOJ check
