Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our friendly team in Lower Hutt.

This is a varied role working across the whole branch focused on Inwards Goods and Customer Deliveries, but also involved in sales on the Trade Counter, Cycle Counting, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Loading / Unloading products and whatever else is necessary within the branch.

Ensure that our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses, and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service.

Support the team in inventory management, inwards goods and doing deliveries.

Ensuring products are organised and ready for delivery.

Accurately checking and receipting product into our systems.

To shine in this role, you’ll bring a customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic to the business and be prepared to work closely and flexibly with the rest of our team.

Our team work collaboratively and so your strong teamwork skills are essential to this role.

Alongside this, you also possess the following – Plumbing or drainage knowledge/ experience is ideal.

Proven experience in customer service, retail sales or hospitality environment/ Inwards goods/Warehousing.

Knowledge around plumbing and drainage would be an advantage.

Full Driver’s License required, and forklift license preferred.

Must pass MOJ check and drug test - Potentially minor convictions, convictions will need to be disclosed and discussed with WB’s.

There will be manual handling and some heavy lifting required so you’ll need to be physically fit, without existing back injuries.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport to support our valued customers.

Be confident with computers and learning new systems.
