Experienced Chef/Cook

We are a busy Hamilton Cafe that has a lot of catering and need experienced Baker/Cook/Chef to prepare food ready for our cafe and for our catering orders.
This included making Pies, Sausage Rolls, Savouries etc as well as baking cookies, Muffins, Scones, Cakes, Fudge etc
There will be days that you may need to assist the chefs with Catering orders (club sandwiches, mini savouries, mini sweets etc), at time you may have to cover for/assist the Chef on the grill, preparing Breakfasts/Lunch so you should have experience cooking in a cafe.
This position is for 25-35+ Hours per week, 4-5 shifts over Monday to Sunday starting at 6am. Most catering order have to be delivered by 8.30am each morning so it’s important that we have made/prepared enough food the day before ready for packing in the next morning as well as baking fresh items early.
Pay is based on your skill and performance as well as ensuring quality and that standards are followed as well as keeping waste to a minimum.

- Genuine interest in the position - Good Communication skills - Follow instructions - Hands on and proactive - Reliable - At least 2yrs - Experience necessary as Baker/Cook/Chef -Must Pass MOJ
