Looking for a Duty Manager in the heart of Dargaville
Accountabilities are as follows: Opening - Prepare the store, walkthrough and inspection, setting up the register and testing the EFTPOS system, review cash reconciliations for discrepancies and prepare deposits if required, daily staff briefings, general checks and storefront presentation to prepare for daily operating.
Must possess excellent customer service skills, be responsible for sales and cash management, assist with staff supervision and development, oversee stock inventory and control, manage promotional material and merchandising, ensure compliance licencing responsibilities are upheld at all times, adhere to health and safety protocols, and communicate and report regularly to higher management.
It is a busy environment with regular heavy lifting so a good level of fitness is required. On job and online training is available.

Job Requirements
Police check required - Cannot have a criminal record Must be licenced or have a LCQ as a bare minimum and be able to obtain Duty Managers licence. Fit and able Will need to have some experience in retail work/customer service.
