Experienced Knife Hands and Boners are required for positions @ Alliance Lorneville to start in May. Day shifts 7am - 4:30pm and nightshifts between 5pm - 2am. This is for Beef Season, approximately 5 months duration, with opportunities to continue for the main season.
We need you to have previous meat processing experience, knife handling and sharpening skills and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
The role will involve : Cutting and separating meat into specific standardised cuts and portions using a combination of bandsaws & knives. Bone out/cut carcasses to required specification. Removing cuts from carcass sides & quarters, using specified cutting lines whilst obtaining maximum yield. Trim and sort meat to required specification. Identify and isolate product risk/faults and re-work as required. Any other further processing tasks as reasonably required. Knives are kept to an acceptable sharpness and used safely.

Job Requirements
Successful candidates will be strong and capable with no pre-existing injuries or illness that could place you at risk in this physically demanding job. You will need to be hard-working, reliable and able to provide a recent reference. You will also be required pass ACC, MOJ checks and a swab test for drugs.
