An Education Charitable Trust at Airport Precinct is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Building Tutor Assistant to help with tutoring the Youth in the South Auckland region who are keen to find a career in the Building/Construction industry. Key Responsibilities: ● Encourage and support young people in developing work-readiness and construction skills. ● Ensure the site is clean and organised. ● Maintain daily routines for young people. ● Support the Building Tutor in renovating houses. ● Support young people in learning trades-based skills. ● Uphold safety and compliance standards on site.

Job Requirements
● Proven experience in the building industry, with a strong understanding of construction practices and safety regulations. ● Ability to relate well to young people, encouraging, supporting, and being a positive role model. ● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate youth. ● Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or working with youth is highly desirable. ● Must be able to pass Ministry of Justice check. ● Must have a minimum restricted license.
- Days of work
- Monday and Wednesday, 8 am to 4:40 pm (16 hours per week plus lunch break which is unpaid) (16 hours per week)
