Fitter Welder required for an East Tamaki based ecompany

Experienced Fitter Welder required for an east Tamaki Specialist based company.

The company is a specialist Hydraulic company who have been in business over 40 years. Specialising in hydraulic cylinder, reconditioning and re-manufacturing, pump, motor, valve repairs.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key requirements for the role: • Be a real team player with excellent communication skills • Reasonable level of academic success • Physically fit • Strong organisational skills which complement the need to manage a variety of priorities and demands ensuring that you hit targets and deadlines

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Able to work from design engineers' drawings, measuring, cutting, bending, and welding metals, and testing the finished products. • Reverse engineering of components • Machining and welding of parts • To maintain the Workshop in the cleanest possible state • To Document all repair processes in accordance with established processes

Qualifications: • Technical/Trade qualifications in mechanical disciplines • Relevant Qualification or relevant work experience.
