Expereinced HydrauliFitter Turner

An East Tamaki based company requires an experienced Fitter Turner. The company specialises in hydraulic cylinder, reconditioning and re-manufacturing, pump, motor, valve repairs.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key requirements for the role:

• Be a real team player with excellent communication skills • Reasonable level of academic success • Physically fit • Strong organisational skills which complement the need to manage a variety of priorities and demands ensuring that you hit targets and deadlines

Main duties and responsibilities:

• To clean all hydraulic components in the proper manner • To disassemble hydraulic components according to established procedures • To measure & diagnose – write job cards including Quality Assurance sheets and writing up seal kits • To organize new seal kits and new components required for service. • To assemble hydraulic parts properly and ensure this is done with no risks of damage or wear • To test assembled cylinders, pumps, motors, valves, etc. properly to ensure intended performance • To clean and paint assembled cylinders • To maintain the workshop in the cleanest possible state • To Document all repair processes in accordance with established processes

Must have the following ecxpereience

• Hydraulic Fitter Turner • Repairing and manufacturing hydraulic cylinders & other hydraulic components • Technical/Trade qualifications in mechanical disciplines • Relevant Qualification or relevant work experience.
