Full Time Hospital Housekeeper

We are looking for an entry level or experienced household staff member to be part of our dedicated team contributing to the hospital running smoothly. You will make our hospital a place where people can get better safely, families can visit in comfort, and staff can do great work in a hygienic and safe environment.
Location: Cleaning internal and external departments in and around Nelson Hospital. Duties will include: cleaning different departments and shared spaces, cleaning patient rooms and bathroom areas.
You will also be supported to get your qualification in Cleaning (NZQA Level 2 & 3).
The role will suit someone with experience in cleaning/customer service OR someone with no experience but a passion for being part of one of New Zealand’s fastest growing sectors and see how a hospital ticks. To be successful in this role you must be reliable, have a positive attitude and consistently deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service. Full training will be provided.
Job Requirements
Must be physically fit as a busy and physical job. Able to work across shift work and travel reliably and safely after 8.30pm
Vaccinations: Measles, Mumps, Chickenpox and Rubella up to date. No requirement for covid vaccination.
