We are a family-owned dairy farm with a proud history spanning over 100 years, located in the heart of the Waikato. Milking 420 Jersey cows through a herringbone shed, we are passionate about farming and enjoy teaching and sharing our knowledge. The Role We are looking for a dedicated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team. No prior experience is required – we value enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude above all else. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to learn all aspects of dairy farming while being supported by an experienced and passionate team. Responsibilities • Assisting with milking 420 Jersey cows twice daily • Supporting general farm tasks, including cleaning and maintenance of the herringbone shed • Feeding and caring for livestock • Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and health • Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across the farm

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• A keen interest in farming and a strong willingness to learn • Enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive attitude • Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions • A team player who can also work independently • No previous farming experience is required, but a genuine passion for agriculture is essential • Hold a Valid Driver's Licence • Clear Pre-employment MOJ check - Consideration on past convictions will be case by case • Drug free - regular drug testing will be undertaken
