Manual Handler - QuayPack and Stevedoring

Are you an experienced Warehouse manual handler with Stevedoring experience? Are you able to cover our 24/7 operation with shifts commencing any time of the day or night, between the hours of Monday 0001 to Sunday 2400. Our major clients are the forestry, horticulture, aquaculture, automotive, food and wine sectors. Our Port is pumping so we need more experienced people to join our team. This is a busy hands-on, permanent part-time role so if you like physical activity and want a workout while you get paid this could be for you! The other great thing is that you'll get loads of variety working in our various operational areas. From warehousing to distribution to securing containers on ships, this is your chance to learn different aspects of Port operations. If you like working outdoors and where you can see the action happening – this could be for you! Something About You First and foremost, you will be someone who is fully focused on safe work practices and the care of cargo. You have a minimum of 2 years' proven Container Stevedoring and Warehousing experience and skills. Other important stuff about you: You have a high level of physical fitness (the role involves vanning and devanning containers and securing cargo on ships) • You are self-motivated and energetic - you love being busy • You pay attention to detail and you hate making mistakes • You have shift work experience and can work a range of shift patterns/variable hours • You are reliable, proactive and like being able to work unsupervised

Have a minimum of 2 years' proven Container Stevedoring and Warehousing experience and skills. Must have own transport to cover shifts that operate throughout all days of the week at any time day or night. Must be physically fit - this is a physically demanding job. Must pass a drug test with an ongoing random monthly drug test required. Must complete OLA.
