About this job

We are looking for a Shed Specialist to oversee daily milking operations, plant maintenance, and shed hygiene while ensuring high-quality milk production and animal health.

Key Responsibilities: - Manage milk harvesting, plant cleaning, and shed hygiene - Maintain and troubleshoot shed equipment and technology - Monitor and treat animal health issues - Record and input farm data - Assist with farm maintenance, calf rearing, pasture management, and fencing - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards - Support farm performance goals, including milk quality, animal health, and operational efficiency

Ideal Candidate: - At least 1+ year experience in dairy shed operations and farm maintenance - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of shed technology and animal health management - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Looking for someone who is honest, has good work ethic and values

Must have 1+ years experience Must be able to pass MOJ, drug test Must hold a minimum of a restricted licence Flexibility to work weekends

Days of work
5 days on 2 days off and 1 weekend day 5 am to 5 pm with 2x one hour breaks for breakfast and lunch. (50 hours per week)
