Relevant truck driving experience in New Zealand is preferable Must be available for early mornings and late evenings and to work over the weekends. Able to work on rotation shift – day & night. Will work locally or travel long distances which means spending nights away from home. You should carry out routine checks of your truck Check the condition of the load and make sure it's secure. Keep appropriate records of and check invoices for materials they are carrying Keep Logbooks of hours you will work Applicant should have basic knowledge of the mechanics of the truck and how to maintain it Must pass company induction Knowledge of transport law and related industry law Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazards conditions. Job Requirements
Key requirements for the role includes Dangerous Goods and Forklift endorsement, previous one year of experience in driving a class 5 vehicle and you must be experienced in reversing heavy road ranger truck and trailer, manual and automatic trucks. Basic induction will be given to shortlisted candidate however you must have licence, knowledge and experience of driving class 5 vehicle and be willing to work on a rotating 24 x 7 rostered shift.
