Support Worker
About this job
Pukekohe employer is looking for full time and part-time Support Workers to join their busy team. The role is based in South Auckland and the Franklin region. This position focuses on providing care and support for elderly individuals (especially in rural areas) , as well as ACC clients with injuries or those needing assistance.
Key responsibilities:
• Assisting with daily life activities (bathing, toileting, mobility, etc.) • Offering emotional support and companionship. • Helping with rehabilitation, exercise, and other therapy programs • Supporting elderly people with tasks like shopping, cooking, and cleaning • Helping families with children when parents are injured or unable to care for them.

Job Requirements
Must hold a restricted/full Drivers Licence and have own transport Must be compassionate and reliable Must have good communication skills Must be willing to travel within South Auckland Must be able to work weekends and public holidays Must have flexibility for shift work Must pass police vetting and pre-employment drug test
