Concrete, Hammerhands + Steel Fixing Crew

A new Construction Project is looking for crew members to assist with the build of a large scale Commercial Construction Project in Central Palmerston North. Multiple opportunities available for experienced Labourers who can multitask doing the following; Concreting, Hammer Hand and Steel Fixing. If you have experience on constructions sites working with steel/concrete and as well as hammer hand - we have 6 positions available and we want to hear from you!! Prior knowledge in either field is essential in addition to your capacity to learn on the job in other areas.

• Manual excavation – must be prepared to use a shovel • Manual handling and heavy lifting required • Boxing and framing foundation • Laying steel mesh and rebar + tying • Aiding concrete pours • Levelling and screeding The employer is offering $27-$33 per hour depending on your experience, and you can expect work approx. 45 hours per week with irregular Saturday shifts.

You must be: - Physically fit and strong - Ability to work well within a team. - Competency in using power tools - Own tools is a bonus. - Experience in Commercial Construction is preferred over Residential. This project is due to start late April for One year with the possibility to gaining more hours once project is complete.
