Dairy farm Assistant
About this job
Milking twice a day shifting cows and feeding fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows Setting fences and other general farm duties. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, should you work beyond the agreed maximum hours in a fortnightly pay period, you will be paid at the agreed overtime rate for each additional hour worked. Wage ranges from $27.00 - $32.00 per hour subject to experience. Candidates are required to provide good related references. To be considered you must: - be a solid worker and with good character (where possible, we will do a criminal check no smoking around farm no pets allowed around farm be able to live in shared accommodation with other worker
Job Requirements
its a mostly outside job in cold rough hot wet weather job .you have to be able to work in all those condition and have lots of patience's to work with stock to handle them easy and keep them stress free. be able to work in team but also do work on your own as well . its early start job 4 of clock start and until 5 pm . can drive 2 wheel farm is situated 300 km away from town so be able to work in remote area . so you can manage yourself in these conditions
