At Northpine, we are seeking Sawmill Staff who are ready to seize the opportunity for personal and professional growth. We employ over 75 people and Northpine supplies high quality structural pine timber via merchants to the public in and around Northland and Auckland, and to a select few wholesalers in Australia.

We are looking for sawmill staff to do general labouring work. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, have a good work ethic, be able to work in a team environment, positive and can maintain an optimistic outlook.

Candidates are trained on the job, inducted in Health and safety, and provided safety gear and standard operating procedure (SOP). They also get free Health Insurance Cover after 6 months! If you have experience in any division of Sawmill operations and are ready to upskill, this is definitely an advantage.

Job Requirements

1- Able to pass Drug testing. 2- Be physically fit and able. 3- Any criminal convictions are to be disclosed and will be considered case by case. 4- Be willing and able to get to Waipu by 6am daily. 5- Be willing to work 4 x 12 hr shifts per week. 6- Have at least a foundational level of mill experience.

Days of work
Daily 6am – 6pm , 4 x 12 hr shifts between Mondays to Fridays. The 4 days will be rostered and may vary. (48 hours per week)
