General Hammerhand Labourer

Our client is seeking a General Hammerhand Labourer to work in the Westgate area. In this role you will be: - Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work site. - Assisting skilled tradespeople as required. - Adhering to all company policies and procedures. - Loading and unloading building materials, tools, and equipment, and transporting them around the site. - Erecting and dismantling temporary structures, such as barricades and scaffolding. - Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials like concrete, plaster, mortar, and asphalt. - Using ladders, scaffolds, hydraulic bucket trucks, and other equipment to reach and demolish multi-storey structures. - Cleaning and carrying out minor repairs on storm-water drains and canals, and checking sewerage systems for cracks and leaks. - Digging holes and shovelling excavated materials onto conveyors, wheelbarrows, and trucks for removal. - Spreading and levelling soil, gravel, and sand on roads, driveways, and trenches.

To be considered for this role you will: • Have experience in a similar role, preferably in Civil Construction • Be reliable and punctual • Physically fit and motivated to work in varying conditions • Committed to follow all site operations and safety practices • Have your own transport to get to work each day Must be able to pass a drug test.
