Barista and Bartender

We are a vibrant restaurant and bar located in the heart of Wellington CBD, and we're on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Bartender/Barista to join our dynamic team!

As our ideal candidate, you’ll bring previous front-of-house experience, a strong customer focus, and a talent for crafting exceptional coffee. You’ll also be ready to take on a variety of responsibilities, including bar duties, serving guests with a smile, and ensuring the smooth flow of service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve guests with exceptional customer service and a warm, welcoming attitude - Prepare and serve perfect coffee as an expert barista - Handle bar duties, including mixing drinks, serving alcoholic beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area -Ensure all food and drink orders are served quickly and accurately - Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the front-of- house and bar areas - Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and efficient service -Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has a solid background in front-of-house roles, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service - Is an expert barista, able to create perfect coffee every time - Has experience working at the bar, mixing drinks and serving alcoholic beverages - Maintains high standards of reliability, punctuality, and teamwork - Brings a positive, can-do attitude to the workplace and thrives in a fast-paced environment

- Minimum of 1 year experience FOH or similar role. - Greeting customers and making their experience unforgettable! - Ability to make a 'great' coffee! - Customer focussed, excellent communication skills. - Team player & reliability. - Able to pass a police check. - Ideally will have LCQ license or willing to obtain one
