About this job
Napier based employer seeking a Financial Mentor. The purpose of this position is to work alongside people of the community and help them gain control over their finances by providing quality Financial Mentoring services. Using compassion, best practice and sound independent judgement you will assist whanau in building financial capability. You will develop a person’s confidence in money and financial skills and assist them to meet goals and outcomes. Full training is provided, and the successful candidate will receive support to gain Financial Mentor Introductory Training which covers the foundation skills required to support and mentor an individual and their whanau navigating financial difficulties. Job Requirements
Ideal candidate will have relevant experience and/or transferrable skills. Social service and community experience is preferred with experience working with a wide range of people. Must provide an up to date CV with current references and a cover letter. Successful candidate must be able to pass pre employment police check and drug test.
